Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (1 fl oz or 30 ml) olive oil
- 1 cup (5.7 oz or 160 g) onion, chopped
- 3 (3 g) clove garlic, crushed
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground beef
- 2 cups (17.85 oz or 500 g) tomato sauce
- 1 medium (2 oz or 60 g) carrot, chopped
- 2 cups (13.2 oz or 370 g) cooked rice
- 1 (2 oz or 60 g) celery stalk, diced
- 1/2 cup (2 oz or 60 g) cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup (2 oz or 60 g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons (15 g) Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup (15 g) fresh parsley, chopped
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- 1Heat oil in a large pan over moderate flame. Stir-fry chopped onion and garlic for 3 to 5 minutes.
- 2Add the ground beef and cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned. Reduce heat to low.
- 3Add the tomato sauce, carrot, rice, celery. Cook, stirring frequently for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4Transfer to a baking dish that can fit inside your air fryer basket.
- 5Sprinkle with cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Cook in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 400 F (200 C). Cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley.
- 6Serve and enjoy.
