Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 1 � Cup milk
- 3 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- � Teaspoon ground cloves
- � Teaspoon ground nutmeg
- � Teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 � Cups flour
- 3 � Teaspoons baking powder
Directions
- 1In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, butter, sugar and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, salt, flour and baking powder.
- 2Add the wet to the dry and, using a spatula, mix just until combined.
- 3Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat and drop in 1/3 cup of the batter at a time. Flip once when first side is golden brown. Continue until all batter is cooked. Top with maple syrup and serve warm.
