Chai Spice Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 � Cup milk
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • � Teaspoon ground cloves
  • � Teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • � Teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 � Cups flour
  • 3 � Teaspoons baking powder

Directions

  • 1In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, butter, sugar and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, salt, flour and baking powder.
  • 2Add the wet to the dry and, using a spatula, mix just until combined.
  • 3Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat and drop in 1/3 cup of the batter at a time. Flip once when first side is golden brown. Continue until all batter is cooked. Top with maple syrup and serve warm.
