Ingredients
- 1 (15 or 420 g) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup (6 oz or 170 g) cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup (4 oz or 125 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (2 oz or 60 g) breadcrumbs
- 1/2 medium (2 oz or 60 g) bell pepper
- 1 medium (3.5 oz or 100 g) white onion, chopped
- 2 (3 g) clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoons (1.5 g) paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) salt
- 1 (2 oz or 60 g) whole egg
- olive oil spray
Directions
- 1Place the black beans in your food processor. Process until it becomes paste-like.
- 2In a large bowl, combine the quinoa, black beans, breadcrumbs, bell pepper, onion, garlic, paprika, coriander, salt, and egg. Mix well using your hands.
- 3Form the into 6 patties. Spray with oil.
- 4Preheat your Air Fryer to 390 F (195 C).
- 5Arrange the patties in a single layer in your Air Fryer basket.
- 6Cook for about 10 minutes. Remove basket from the machine and flip the patties to brown the other side, cook for about 5-7 minutes more or until golden brown.
- 7Transfer to a serving dish.
- 8Serve and enjoy.
