Ingredients

  • 8 (1 oz or 30 g) thick bread slices
  • 4 (2 oz or 60 g) whole eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup (4 fl oz or 125 ml) whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons (2 oz or 60 g) butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons (4 g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup (5 oz or 150 g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (4 oz or 125 g) fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup (5 oz or 150 g) fresh blackberries
  • honey to serve

Directions

  • 1Preheat your air fryer to 360 F (180 C).
  • 2Cut each slice of bread diagonally in half.
  • 3Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl until blended well.
  • 4Cut a parchment paper to fit int the air fryer basket. Put properly into place.
  • 5Take one piece of bread and dip into egg mixture, making sure that it is well coated with egg mixture. Shake to remove excess liquid and place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Best to cook in batches, to avoid overcrowding.
  • 6Cook in the air fryer for 5 minutes, turn the bread pieces, and cook for 5 minutes more.
  • 7Transfer to a serving dish. Top with fresh berries and drizzle with honey.
  • 8Serve and enjoy.
