Ingredients
- 16 oz. (450 g) feta cheese, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons (7 g) finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 8 wooden skewers
- For the Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons (1 fl oz or 30 ml) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) roasted and ground cumin seeds
- 1 ½ cup (12 oz or 375 g) plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) ginger paste
- 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (0.5 g) cumin powder
- 3/4 cup (2.7 oz or 75 g) besan
- 2 tablespoons (1 fl oz or 30 ml) olive oil
- 4 saffron strands, dissolved in 1 tablespoon of milk
- salt, to taste
Directions
- 1Combine the marinade ingredients in a non-reactive bowl.
- 2Add in the feta cheese cubes and toss to coat everything with marinade. Let sit for 30 minutes.
- 3Place the marinated feta cubes in the basket of your Air Fryer, in a single layer if possible. Set your Air Fryer to 400 F (200 C) and 15 minutes for time. Shake halfway through cooking time for even browning. Remove the Air Fryer basket and let cool. Thread into wooden skewers.
- 4Place into a serving dish. Sprinkle with a bit of chaat masala.
- 5Serve right away with minted yogurt and chutney, if desired.
