Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) chicken tenders
- For the Breading:
- 3/4 cup (3.2 oz or 90 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) black pepper
- 2 (2 oz or 60 g) whole eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup (2.7 oz or 75 g) breadcrumbs
- olive oil spray
- For the Honey Mustard Dip:
- 1/2 cup (4 oz or 125 g) low-fat mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz or 30 g) Dijon mustard
- 1 ½ tablespoon (1 oz or 30 ml) pure honey
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) lemon juice
Directions
- 1In a mixing bowl, season all-purpose flour with salt and pepper.
- 2Place eggs and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
- 3Coat chicken tenders first with seasoned flour, then eggs and lastly, breadcrumbs.
- 4Preheat Air Fryer to 380 F (180 C).
- 5Place breaded chicken tenders in Air Fryer cooking basket. Spray lightly with oil. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- 6As the chicken tenders are being cooked, prepare the Honey-Mustard Dip.
- 7In a mixing bowl, whisk all dip ingredients. Transfer into a small bowl and then cover. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- 8Place chicken tenders in serving plate and serve with Honey-Mustard dip on the side.
- 9Serve and enjoy.
