Ingredients
- 16 ounces (450 g) firm tofu, cubed
- 1-1/2 cup (6 oz or 185 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) kosher salt or Himalayan salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) freshly ground black pepper
- olive oil spray
- For the Dipping Sauce:
- 1/4 cup (2 oz or 60 g) smooth low-sodium peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon (10 g) garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (1 fl oz or 30 ml) light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (3 fl oz or 85 ml) water
- 2 tablespoons (0.7 oz or 20 g) chopped roasted peanuts
Directions
- 1Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
- 2To make the fried tofu, season all-purpose flour with salt and pepper.
- 3Coat the tofu cubes with the flour mixture. Spray with oil.
- 4Preheat your Air Fryer to 390 F (180 C).
- 5Place coated tofu in the cooking basket. Careful not to overcrowd them.
- 6Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- 7Serve with prepared peanut dipping sauce.
- 8Enjoy.
